What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email), the profile data you add (work history, education, skills), documents you generate (resumes, cover letters), and the job postings you tailor applications for. The browser extension reads form fields on pages where you click Autofill so it can match them to your profile. If you connect email in BeeBid Mail, we also process mailbox data described below.
Connected email (Gmail and Outlook)
When you connect a Gmail or Outlook account to BeeBid Mail, you authorize BeeBid to access that mailbox through the provider’s OAuth APIs. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include your email address, message metadata (such as sender, subject, dates, and labels or categories), message content needed to display and triage mail, and actions you request (such as mark read, archive, reply, forward, or apply labels). We store OAuth access and refresh tokens on our servers so BeeBid Mail can keep working until you disconnect. We do not sell connected-email data. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time from BeeBid Mail settings; disconnecting revokes further API use for that account from our product, and we remove or stop using the stored tokens for that connection.
How we use it
Your profile data powers AI resume tailoring and autofill for your own applications. Connected-email data is used only to provide BeeBid Mail features you request: listing and reading messages, organizing labels or categories, sending replies or forwards you initiate, and related inbox triage for your job search. We use aggregated, non-identifying usage data to improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not use Google APIs or Google user data to create, train, or distribute AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII), or for any similar prohibited use.
Google API services and Limited Use
BeeBid’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data obtained through Gmail or related Google OAuth scopes is used only to provide or improve user-facing BeeBid Mail features. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to operate the service under confidentiality and data-processing terms, to comply with law, or with your direction. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements. Human access to Google user data is limited to cases such as providing support at your request, securing the service, or complying with legal obligations.
AI processing
When you tailor a resume or cover letter, the relevant job description and your profile data are sent to our AI processing pipeline to generate the tailored document. Generated content is stored in your account so you can review, edit, and reuse it. If BeeBid Mail uses AI to help categorize or label messages, that processing is limited to providing those inbox features for you; it is not used to build unrelated advertising profiles.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Within an organization, profile and application data you choose to share is visible to teammates with appropriate roles. We use infrastructure and AI providers to operate the service, bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms. Email provider APIs (Google and Microsoft) process connected-mailbox requests under their own terms when you authorize the connection.
Retention and your controls
You can edit or delete profile data, resumes, and cover letters from your account at any time. You can disconnect Gmail or Outlook mailboxes from BeeBid Mail at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile data from active systems, subject to any legal retention requirements. Mail connection tokens are removed or invalidated when you disconnect or delete the related account data.
